Kathi M. Medina

In the hands of the Lord, Kathi May Medina, passed away on June 16, 2018, at Kindred Hospital Riverside in Perris, California. Kathi May Medina was born on March 21, 1963 to her late father, Curtis Elmor Grace and mother, Mary Helen Powell.

Kathi was the beloved wife of Miguel A. Sanchez. They fell in love 31 years ago.

Kathi was outgoing and known to be quite the jokester. In addition, Kathi was beautiful, inside and out. She was caring and loving to say the least. Kathi's family and friends could always count on her to look out for them. She was a humble and giving woman.

In her spare time, Kathi enjoyed playing poker and card games. She also loved a good yard sale.

Kathi's favorite decor was Coca-Cola. She loved decorating, and especially loved the holidays. Kathi loved celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas because it brought the family together.

Kathi is preceded in death by her father, Curtis Grace, mother Mary Helen Powell, her brother, Bill, and her sisters, Mary, Debbie, and Roxy.

Kathi is survived by her daughters, Kathi Medina Jr., Maria (Alejandro) Trejo, Joye (Angel) Medina, and son, Robert (Chelsea) Garcia, 16 grandchildren, and many siblings.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Monday, July 2, 2018, at Miller-Jones Mortuary - San Jacinto, 165 West 7th Street, San Jacinto, California.

Interment will be in San Jacinto Valley Cemetery, San Jacinto, CA. on July 6, 2018 a 2:00PM.
