Kenneth Chambers

Kenneth Chambers, of Hemet, California passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011,born Saturday, October 1, 1927 in Sayre, Oklahoma He was the son of William and Dorothy Chambers. Ken was the husband of Adele Chambers and they were married 62 years,1 month. In the earlier years he loved to water-ski and fish. Later when he had a family that tradition continued with his children and grand children. During this time he loved to whistle and sing. He still had the passion later in life but his lungs protested.

He would save his time sick time and vacation time and then the family would take off to camp and fish. He was very handy and could fix anything. He liked working around the house and was good with garden tools. Kenneth was a member of the city of Los Angeles VFW.

A few vacations that he really enjoyed during his retirement time were cruises to the Mexican Rivera, Alaska and the Caribbean and one week spent in Canada salmon fishing

His enthusiasm for life was teaching his grandchildren how to fish and being with his family.

Surviving are daughter, Beverly A. (Chambers) Ballinger, brothers, Keith Chambers, Richard Chambers and James C. Chambers; 3 grand children; 6 great grand children.

A Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday May 25,2011 at Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, California 92518.
