Larry was born on February 25th, 1958 to William Vernon Parker and Mary Ellen Parker in Santa Ana, CA. He grew up primarily in the Anaheim and Corona area of Southern California. At the young age of 4, Larry suffered his first loss when his sister JoAnne died in a tragic fire accident at the age of 7. A few weeks later he lost his father, Bill, after a short battle with nephritis. His mom, Mary continued to raise Larry and his brother Bill as a single mom with the help of their grandmother, Cora and their three uncles- Jack, Dale and Gene. When Larry was about 10 years old, his mother married Jim Hohenstreet and Jim raised the boys as his own.
After finishing his high school GED, Larry joined the United States Army. After finishing his commitment to his country, he met Shirley Love, whom he spent 22 years with and had three daughters with- Teara, Roxann and Magan. After the two separated, he met Vera Cruz and they had his first and only son, Gunnar.
Throughout Larry's life he had many jobs all involving working with his hands. He was very mechanically inclined and could build or fix almost anything. He loved music, antiques, animals and people. He would do anything for anyone. He loved his family and his friends, almost to a fault.
Larry is predeceased by his sister, JoAnne; father, Bill Sr.; mother, Mary; step father, Jim; his brother, Bill as well as many other family members and friends. He is survived by his four children; Teara Richardson (Sean Callahan) of Topeka, KS, Roxann Parker (Rickie Negrete) of Nuevo, Magan Parker of Riverside and Gunnar Parker of Lucerne Valley, as well as his five grandchildren; Deja Negrete, Sophia DeHaro, Dean Callahan, Alivia Jeglum and Lucia Callahan.
