Lawrence (Larry) Louis Metz, 85 of Hemet, CA passed away on December 7, 2018, in Murrieta, CA. Larry was born August 11, 1933 in Tishomingo OK. He is survived by his wife Mary Metz, Mary's 2 daughters, Cathy Laird and Debbie Fast, Larry's daughter Cheri Sheld, 2 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his sister in law Jeannie Allen and her husband Bill Allen of Hemet. Larry served our country in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War. Larry worked for 15 years at Rockwell International in their Space Program. He moved to Sage, CA and worked for Hemet Valley Medical Center. He retired in 2005. After retirement Larry and Mary enjoyed traveling to many different places. Larry was a member of the Hemet Model Masters Club where he was an avid flyer and builder of many of model planes.
Larry Metz was preceded in death by his parents Edwin Metz and Rose Duerr Metz.
