

Surviving is oldest son Bradley John Allanach age 50 and youngest son Martin Christopher Sigley age 44. Leland was preceded in death by his beloved wife Linda Mary Sigley (Allanach) who passed away on February 7, 2022, at age 77.
Leland was born in Wichita, Kansas on Sunday, January 7, 1945, to parents William Oliven Sigley and Marjorie Gertrude Sigley (Martin).
He grew up in Bellflower, California and attended school there.
As a young child, Leland enjoyed taking apart record players, radios, and other electronic devices to see how they work. Starting at age 4, Leland began acquiring knowledge of electronics and how to fix various electronic items which he became very good at.
Starting in his teen years, Leland started his own business refurbishing and repairing televisions and radios. Leland worked his TV and Radio Repair business until the early-1980’s.
In the early to mid 1980’s, Leland worked as an Electronics Engineer on Satellite circuits for Starview Systems.
In the mid-1980’s, Leland wrote many Electronics software programs for the Commodore 64/128 and sold them worldwide under his business, WeaselGraphics.
Leland appreciated the Fine Arts starting in his youth. He enjoyed listening to Classical Music throughout his life. Some of his favorite composers were Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven. He often played music on his TEAC Reel-to-Reel tape recorder or a record player through his beloved Fisher Stereo System. He also attended many live concerts.
Leland loved old cars, especially Cadillacs and Lincolns. He previously owned a 1950 and a 1961 Cadillac Limousine and a 1989 Lincoln Town Car.
Leland rebuilt player pianos including the Ampico and Duo Art brands. This is a skill he passed on to his son Martin.
Leland enjoyed having daily coffee with his son Bradley who lived next door.
Bradley and Leland often watched and listened to old TV and radio programs such as Amos and Andy, Jack Benny, and Mr. Ed.
Some of Leland’s favorite movies include Arthur (1981), Gone With The Wind, Wizard Of Oz, Jesus of Nazareth (1977), A Man For All Seasons (1966), Groove Tube (1974), and Blazing Saddles (1974).
He loved Christmas and decorating for Christmas as well as spending time with his family. He enjoyed Christmas movies like A Christmas Story (1983), all Christmas Carol movies, The original Grinch cartoon (1966), and It’s A Wonderful Life (1947).
Leland was an Electronics Instructor. Electronics and Math were subjects that he enjoyed and exceled at. Some places Leland taught Electronics include Mohave Community College in Kingman, AZ, Associated Technical College in Riverside, CA, Chuckawalla Valley State Prison in Blythe, CA, and Colton High School in Colton, CA.
He was a devout Catholic. In recent years, Leland attended St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in the Sun City area of Menifee. He attended Mass online when he was unable to attend in person.
Leland married Linda Mary Sigley at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Tustin, CA on November 15, 1975. They had been married over 46 years when Linda passed. A Requiem Mass to be said at a later date.
