

Leonard Sauble, 91 of Hemet, California died on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, California. He was born on Thursday, October 14, 1920 in Los Angeles, California , he was the son of the late Leonard Sauble and the late Emma Roberts Sauble. He was the husband of Cornelia Mackey Sauble for 67 1/2 years. He served in the Air Force from 1942 until 1946 and then worked in the Foreign Service Department for over 20 years. Leonard was very active in the retired officers association, hospital auxiliary and American Legion Post #53 Hemet. Leonard graduated from UCLA 1942 and then next day travelled to Texas to serve his country. Leonard was a sports fan but his favorite team was the UCLA Bruins. Cornelia and Leonard enjoyed traveling and did it all with the RV's, planes, trains and cruises. There was not a favorite location, they just enjoyed each others company and the beauty of the countries. Leonard always stayed in touch with his old high school buddies and enjoyed talking to them about old times and current events. He also was a very good tennis player during his more active years. Surviving are son, Dennis Sauble of Miami, FL, daughter, Diane S Breuer of Fresno, CA, 5 grand children and 2 great grand children. Preceded in death by his sister Laura Moore.
