Leroy Benton Norman, age 88, of Hemet, CA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 4, 2013, at Seema's Elderly Home in Hemet, CA. He was born May 22, 1925 in Los Angeles, CA. He was the son of the late Erbie Norman and the late Guadalupe Norman. Leroy served our country proudly during WWII in the Navy. Leroy was a member of Sprinkler Fitters U.A Local #709 for 65 years. He was also a member of the VFW Post #53 and Seven Hills Men's Golf Club in Hemet. His family describes him as a happy, friendly family man. Some of his hobbies included fishing and golfing. He was a true Dodger and Lakers fan. He also played baseball, coached Little League, and Pony League. Leroy was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church for 24 years.
He is survived by his wife: Beverly Norman, one daughter Donna (Richard) Shockey; son Ronald (Bonnie) Norman; step children Sue Hoskins, Caryl Houghton, and Barbara (Russ) Andrus; four Grandchildren; and ten Great Grandchildren.
