I am sorry to read of the passing of your loved one. Words don't always ease the pain when you are grieving the death of a loved one, but I hope you will find comfort in Jesus' promise of the resurrection hope(Acts 24:15)when he will raise up those who are now sleeping in death(John 11:11) restoring them back to life, on the renewed Paradise earth(John 5:28,29; Luke 23:43) what a wonderful blessing to look forward too. Until then, may GOD (Psalms 83:18) grant you peace and comfort during this grievous time.-Matthew 5:4.

My heart goes out to the Merilice family. A great person, man and father will truly be missed. We didn't see each other often but when we did cross paths he treated me like one of his own, and that's truly appreciated. U raised a good family and through your wisdom I know they will keep the Merilice name going good and strong.

A quote from Ray Bradbury came to my mind when thinking of the enduring legacy that is left from a great man, husband and father Lesly Merlice; "Everyone must leave something behind when he dies. A child or a book or a painting or a house or a wall built or a pair of shoes made. Or a garden planted. Something your hand touched some way so your soul has somewhere to go when you die, and when people look at that tree or that flower you planted, you're there." Lesly left something behind that is truly special. A great father that will be remembered for a long time. When we enter this world we enter in surrounded by joy and happiness, while we are the one crying and scared. When we leave this earth we are the one's with joy and happiness and the one's surrounded us are filled with tears and fear. Lesly Merlice is happy and is in a better place, in a world with no pain or suffering.

To be absent from the body, is to be with the Lord. God bless you Lesly, my fellow Deacon in the Lord. May the Good Lord continue to bless the Merilice family and ease their pain in this time of lost.

My sencere condolences to all the family. I met Lesly for the first time last year at his grand daughters baby shower. He was a very friendly and pleasant man. I'm sorry I didn't get to have more visits with him.

My condolences to the Merilice family. I was privileged to know and have many conversations with Lesly. I am thankful for the values he's instilled in my best friend Sam. He will be forever missed.

My condolences to the family. Deacon was a blessing to me and my children. Whether is was helping me with my car, giving us a ride, or giving us words of wisdom to every situation that may arise. My children and I will miss him but I feel he has served his purpose on earth and God is ready to reward him in heaven. I therefore rejoice in my spirit and I look forward to seeing you again Deacon. He promises we will soon see our loved ones again in paradise on earth. Please try to find a little time to consider the warm thoughts for you from the God of all comfort at Acts 24:15 and Revelation 21:3, 4.

It is very unfortunate that Lesly be called upon so soon, he was a man of integrity, honor, and cared deeply for his family. To the Merilices my heart and prayers are with you all.

To my beloved father words cannot explain home much I love you. You are my hero, the personification of strength. You have given so much of yourself to family, and friends.
