Linda Jeanette Abbott, 74 of Hemet, California passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. She was born on Wednesday, August 11, 1943 in San Diego, California to Curtis and Nell Johnson. Linda is survived by her five children, Genise Monahan, Trish (Damon) Anderson, Christopher (Yvonne) Monahan, James Monahan, and Martin Cumpton; two brothers, Johnny Johnson and Nathan Johnson; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
Linda was a caring and loving woman who made friends with everyone she met. Her big heart had love overflowing for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, but she was a mom to everyone. Linda loved to collect books and fairies, and ran her own bookstore. She also loved to spend time in her garden, and sit peacefully reading her favorite books. Linda knew how to spin a tale and loved to write and tell stories to her family.
Linda was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Services will be held privately by the family.
