Lois Irene Johnson

Lois Irene Johnson, 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 16, 2017, in Hemet, CA, with her family at her side. She was born January 3, 1929, in Superior, WI, and was the daughter of the late Glenn and Irene Kent Haworth. She was a 51-year resident of Twentynine Palms, CA, and a 5-year resident of Hemet.

Lois was married to the love of her life, Eugene Johnson, for 53 years until his passing in April 2002. They enjoyed exploring the country in their travel trailer and visiting the national parks.

Lois enjoyed sewing, crafting, and ceramics. She had a quick wit, a good sense of humor, and was loving and caring. She cared very deeply for family. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter Terry Simmer and her husband Mike of Manakin-Sabot, VA; her daughter Julie Surani of Hemet, CA; her grandson Aaron Surani and his wife Paula of San Jose, CA; her granddaughter Nadia Surani-Aguilar and her husband Albert of Murrieta, CA; and her great-granddaughters Alondra Surani and Samina Aguilar.
