Loretha “Joan” Brown of Hemet passed away peacefully on Monday, June 21, 2021 on her 91st birthday. She was born June 21, 1930 in Bloomington IN. She was the beloved daughter of Harold and Kate Van Dyke.
She married the love of her life, Donald Brown, on December 26, 1948. They had 4 children, Donna, Michael, Debbie and Diane. Joan worked in Property Management for over 10 years working in Anaheim and Lake Arrowhead.
Some of Joan’s hobbies include reading, sewing, bingo and most importantly spending quality time with her family.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband Don her parents Harold and Kate and her siblings, Dan Van Dyke, Gene Van Dyke, Susie Van Dyke, Sandy Heinrich , Annette Ricardo and her daughters, Donna Booras and Debbie Handley.
She is survived by her children Mike Brown and Diane Masotto, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
