Pat passed away on September 10th, 2021. He was proceeded in death by his wife of 64 years Cindy, his brother Theodore, his sister Mary and his Mother Jessie. He is survived by his son Loyle, his daughter in law Gayle, his son Kenneth, his four siblings Caroline, Tony, Shawn, and Wendell, his many nieces and nephews, as well as his ten grandchildren, seven Great grandchildren.
Pat was born in Arkansas and grew up in Birch Tree MO. He joined the Navy when he was just 17. He was stationed in San Diego where he met his wife Cindy, they married when they were both 18. He and Cindy were married 64 years. Cindy left us in January of this year and there wasn’t a moment that went by that he didn’t miss her dearly. I am sure Pat would be the first to say he is happy he is with her again. If he were here to tell us himself he would say he hasn’t been this happy “since the hogs ate his kid sister”. Pat was the constant jokester and his infectious smile showed the joy he had for life. He loved to travel where he met so many of his friends and he loved bowling and spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves a great void in the lives of all his family and friends. He will be missed but always remembered, his jokes will pass from generation to generation to carry his legacy well into the future.
Services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery at 10:30 am Friday, October 15th, 2021 and the family will host a private celebration of life for Pat at 2 pm that afternoon, at the family home.
