Marcia relocated to San Bernardino, California, in 1956, where she spent the most of her life. She attended Golden Valley Junior High School and Pacific High School. After high school, she graduated from Cosmetology School and attended San Bernardino Valley College. Marcia dedicated many years of service to the community, working as a Library Technician for the City of San Bernardino until her retirement after 26 years.
It was in San Bernardino that she met and married her first husband, John Baker, with whom she had three children.
Marcia was a loving and caring mom, grandma, and wife whose greatest joy was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed traveling with her loving husband Art, with Hawaii and San Diego being her favorite destinations, and she was a faithful member of her church.
She is survived by her husband, Art Smith; Sisters Kathleen Price and Tonya Lorentzen; her three children, Kelly Stater, Matt Baker, and Sherry Washburn; four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Marcia's warmth, kindness, and loving spirit will be forever missed by all who knew her.
