Maria de Jesus Torres

Maria de Jesus Torres, age 91, of Jalisco, Mexico, went home to Heaven to be with God on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Torres was born December 20, 1920 in Magdalena, Jalisco, Mexico. She was the daughter of the late Jesus Torres and the late Julia (Lomeli) Torres. She was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed sewing, she loved music, she was a loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, and great-great-grandma, she was always there for her family, and she loved God and was very religious until the end. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. She lived in Hemet and San Jacinto area for about 11 years. She has been in California for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Angel Sanchez Carranza. Her siblings: Ignacia, Pascual, Pedro, Carolina, Jose, Rodolfo, Librada, Manuel, and Maria Torres. She is survived by her children; Rosie, husband Raymond Castellano, San Jacinto, CA; Guadalupe Sanchez, Paramount, CA; Alejandro Lozano Torres, Camarillo, CA; nine grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She will be forever in our hearts and forever missed until we meet again.Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mc Wane Family Funeral Home, 350 N. San Jacinto Ave, Hemet, CA. Family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at 10:00 AM, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 630 Santa Fe St, San Jacinto, CA, 92583. Graveside service will follow at Menifee Valley Memorial Park located at 26770 Murrieta Rd., Sun City, CA.
