

She was born in Oxnard, CA on June 20, 1951, to Amalia and Luis Garcia. Here she grew up with her brothers Trino, Louie, David, Armando, George, Chava, and her sister Martha.
She graduated from cosmetology school in 1973 and was a hairdresser for 47 years.
She enjoyed dancing, her glasses of wine and laughter with family and friends, gardening, visiting the different wineries, being outdoors, attending parties, cooking and spending time with her family and friends, listening and reading inspirational books, and going out to dinner.
She will be remembered for her devout faith, her love for Father God, her listening ear, kindness, being a great hostess, always dressed and made up for the day, love of music, understanding jokes minutes later, her laughter, acceptance of others, and endless love for her children.
She is survived by her daughter Monica, son Jose, daughter-in-law Valerie, sister Martha, and brothers Armando, George, and Salvador. Also her beloved dogs Canela and Pinchi Penny.
