

The family of Mary Ann Harr is deeply saddened to announce her passing after nearly 70 years of generosity, loyalty, and love. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, sister, daughter, and aunt. Born in Banning, CA to Agapito and Delphina Garcia, Mary is survived by her husband of 46 years: James; her seven children: Cathy, Carrie, Liz, Theresa, Michael, Jessica, and David; her four grandchildren: Tyson, Logan, Aiden, and Mackenzie; her four brothers: Steve, Jimmy, Mark, and Jon; and her sister: Betty. Mary was also a dedicated teacher at St. Hyacinth Academy, San Jacinto for 26 years. She was unwavering in her service to others.
Mary was a graduate of Pepperdine University, often taking place in civil rights protests and events. She was also a veteran of the United States Navy. Mary spent her life ensuring those around her were always taken care of. Words cannot ever express the extent of her selflessness.
Family and friends will remember Mary for her strength and joy. She dedicated her life to her family and friends, and she showed them what unconditional love was. She was fiercely loyal to all of her loved ones, and spent her life fighting for them. Mary leaves behind a legacy that cannot be outmatched; she always looked for ways to help others.
Mary bled Dodger Blue, was forever Lakers’ purple and gold, and was forever a part of the Rams’ house.
