Mary Ruth Lopez, 89, passed away in her home in Moreno Valley on 27 Sept 2014. She was born on 10 Apr 1925 in Ontario, CA to Bernarbe and Maria Franco. She moved to Moreno Valley from Downey, CA in 1988 with her husband Salvador. She was a very active member of the Moreno Valley Senior Center, crochet group, ST Patrick's Senior Ministry, BiMonthly at home crochet group and crafty carvers. She retired from Downey Unified School District after 27 years. She is survived by her three children, Susanna Steele of Colorado Springs, CO, Joel and Gilbert Lopez of Moreno Valley, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Salvador Frank Lopez, her siblings and parents. There will be a Rosary service at Miller-Jones mortuary in Moreno Valley on Tuesday October 7, 2014 from 11:00am - 12:00pm. There will be a Funeral Mass at St Patrick Catholic Church in Moreno Valley the same day at 12:30pm, the interment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery at 2:01pm.
