Maura Acevedo Marquez, age 66, of Perris, California, passed away, Wednesday, December 11, 2013, in Perris, California. She was born on Sunday, August 3, 1947 in Mexico to the late Geronimo Acevedo and the late Antonia Flores Acevedo. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to listen to music and loved to dance. Maura was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed watching her favorite team, the Los Angeles Dodgers. She will forever be in the hearts of those she loved the most.
Those left to mourn her passing, but cherish her memory are her loving children, Efrain Marquez, Adrian Marquez, Cesario Marquez and Verena Swartzbaugh; 6 grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
Arrangements are entrusted to Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory - Perris, 1835 N. Perris Blvd., Perris, California, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Funeral service will be at St. Christopher Catholic Church at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 19, 2013.
