Mercedita Santos DeLeon, 68 of Perris, California passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born Tuesday, July 27, 1943 in the Philippines to the late Ernesto DeLeon and Natividad Santos DeLeon. Mercedita worked as a clerk for the Police Department of Los Angeles for 20 years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church. Mercedita will be forever loved and never forgotten. Surviving are her mother, Natividad Santos DeLeon; brother, Danilo DeLeon; sisters, Teresita DeLeon- Nailog, Ester Drquioag and Blesilda MaCalintal; and numerous other family members and friends.
