

Micah Roy Plemmons, age 37, was taken from us too soon on November 10, 2018, in Midland, Texas. He was born December 18, 1980, in Salem, Oregon. He was raised in Albany, Oregon and graduated from West Albany High in 1999. The family moved to Richmond, Virginia where he made lifelong friends, he considered family.
He graduated from Virginia Military Institute in 2007. Micah served our country as a Sergeant in the Army National Guard and Army Reserves. He enlisted on October 28th, 2000. Many lifelong friendships were forged during these times.
His journey brought him to California where he had the great fortune of meeting his best friend and loving wife, Ana Mendoza in 2015. The inseparable couple served together in the Army Reserves out of Camp Pendleton, California.
Shortly after Micah proposed to Ana, he moved to Odessa, Texas to work for Baker Hughes in June 2017. Micah had a vision of his future for him and his future family. He was highly motivated to pursue it.
He married Ana on September 29th, 2018 in San Diego, California.
Micah urged family and friends to "Walk with a Purpose". His walk was with Ana, his family and friends. His purpose was to serve them.
Micah worked hard to provide for his family and loved ones, lavishing them with thoughtful gifts and well-plotted surprises. His humor was contagious, often bringing people to deep laughter.
He made time to celebrate life and the achievements of family and friends.
Micah is survived by his wife, Ana Plemmons, father and mother, Kevin Plemmons and Teresa Christiansen, his sister, Paige Plemmons, nephew Andrew White, grandparents Roy and Shirley Christiansen, in laws Agustin and Norma Mendoza and a magnitude of adoring family and friends. May Micah's contagious smile and radiant spirit shine bright through all those who will forever love him.
