Michael Dennis Houston

Michael Dennis Houston, 66, passed away peacefully into the hands of His Father and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday December 15, 2016 at his home in Hemet, CA following a gallantly fought extended illness. He was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing.

He leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Jean (McKernan) Houston; his daughters Trinity Houston, Sara Houston, Kelly (Houston) Mancilla and her husband Victor; his son David Houston and his wife Sabreena; his nine grandchildren Ashley, Cody, Lash, Remy, Marissa, Jasmine, Ariana, Elena, Violet; his one great grand child Vaida and another great grand child on the way, his namesake Michael.

Michael was born in San Francisco, CA on May 11, 1950. The son of Glenn and Emily Houston, Michael is survived by four brothers Paul, Frank, Larry and his wife Monica,and Dan; and his sister Linda and her husband Steve Gonzales; along with in-laws Carol Lowery, Joel and Cindy McKernan, Jody McKernan, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A devoted and loving family man, husband, father, grand father, and great grand father, Michael was a hard working entrepreneur who touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with, impacting them with his love and generosity.

Funeral services will be held at Miller Jones Mortuary, 1501 W. Florida Ave., Hemet, CA on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 10am..
