Mildred C Day-Henderson was born on Oct 12, 1917, and passed away on Dec 5th, 2017. She passed away on the same day her son, Carl Casey, had died 6 years earlier. Mildred died in the comfort of her daughter and son in law’s home, Judith and Joseph Dias, in Hemet, with loved ones at her side.
She will be missed by her family of children, grand children, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
Mildred was quite a strong spirited woman who operated her own real estate office, Happy Homes Realty, in San Diego. She also built many beautiful custom open beam houses along the coast of Mendocino County.
There will be an open casket viewing on Saturday, Dec 9th, 12 to 2:00 for the public, and 2:00 to 4:00 by invitation only.
Graveside service and burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside on Tuesday, 10:30 am where she will be layed to rest next to her husband, Gene Henderson.
