

Milo Norman Hagen, 89 of Hemet, California passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at home. He was born on Saturday, August 25, 1928 in Smoky Butte, North Dakota. He was the son of the late Hans and Julia (Haugen) Hagen. He was married to the love of his life , Paulette Hagen for 63 years before her passing in September 2013. He served in the U.S. Navy. They enjoyed traveling all over the US in an RV and took many cruises. Milo loved to be around horses and raised a few. He was a country man and would have been a Cowboy if born in the 1800's. Once retired he turned his talents to woodworking making animals on top of wooden canes and was considered a master gardener. Milo could also play the guitar when coxed to do so. He is described by his family as very soft spoken, a man of few words who enjoyed doing his own thing. Surviving are daughter, Helen S Lamprecht and husband James; sister Louella Schneider; grandchildren Michael Endress and Evan Hagen.
