He was born Thursday, August 4, 1927 in Anderson, South Carolina.
Milton joined the Army in 1945 and served in WWII, he then joined the Air Force and served in the Korean Conflict and in Vietnam as well. Once he started his family he decided it was time to retire after spending more than 20 years in the Air Force.
He son Jim remembers him as very out going, never shy about speaking his mind. Milton made friends easily. He will be re-united with his wife Lillian who passed in January of 2011.
Surviving are sons, James Patterson of Perris, CA and David Patterson.
A Funeral service will be at 1:31 PM on Tuesday May 20, 2014 at Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside, California 92518.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Miller-Jones Moreno Valley, 23618 Sunnymead Bl., Moreno Valley, California .
