Nancy Mottram

Surrounded by family, Nancy Kolb Mottram, 92, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019, at Pacifica Assisted Living in Hemet, California. Nancy was born on Sunday, June 5, 1927, in Oak Park, Illinois to her late parents William Brewster Hinckley and Mary E. Kolb.

Nancy grew up in Illinois where she attended Hinsdale High School and in 1941 met the love of her life Robert Mottram. They were married on February 25, 1950 and they spent sixty nine happy years together. Shortly after their marriage the couple relocated to Northridge in the San Fernando Valley where they raised their three sons. After retirement in 1980 they moved to Hemet, California where Nancy spent the last thirty-nine years of her wonderful life with Bob. She enjoyed attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and was their biggest fan. Nancy was an amazing, beautiful woman who loved and cared for others. She performed volunteer service at Northridge Hospital for many years and when living in Hemet she was active with the Seven Hills golf community. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Nancy is survived by her husband Robert, her children; Rob Mottram, Peoria Az., Steve Mottram, Encino Ca., Scott and Kathi Mottram Ventura Ca., her sister Janet Ruzich Pittsburgh Pa, three beautiful grandchildren and two wonderful great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister Betty Drinkwater. Nancy had a heart of gold and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends
