Noah Lewis Anthony Yanez, entered into eternal rest and found peace with our Lord and Savior on March 5, 2026 at the age of 28. Born on October 19, 1997 in Murrieta, to Angela and Lewis Yanez, Noah left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He was a radiant light in our family, a one-of-a-kind son, a devoted brother, a fun uncle, and a loyal friend.
Noah was a force to be reckoned with. As the “baby” of the family for many years, he carried a playful spirit that everyone around him felt. He was funny, a little spoiled, and full of personality. Noah had a way of lighting up a room, making people laugh, and bringing everyone together when it mattered most. Growing up, Noah loved fishing and never passed up the chance to cast a line. He had a natural talent for baseball and spent countless days outside with his siblings, roaming the neighborhood, riding bikes, or skateboarding, enjoying the simple adventures of childhood. He also went through a dance phase as a kid, learning jerking and shuffling, highlighting his moves through the videos that were posted on YouTube. At times, his mischievous streak occasionally got him into trouble, including one time when he and the neighborhood kids were caught throwing rocks at cars, something the family still remembers with a smile.
As Noah grew into adulthood, one thing that stayed consistent was his love for music and dancing. He had a way of bringing joy and movement to everyone around him, whether letting loose at family gatherings or just enjoying life. He loved exploring new interests, different styles, hobbies, and aspirations. At one point, Noah started making his own shirts branded with the numbers 839, inspired by the Bible verse, Romans 8:39. He taught himself how to screen print and designed each shirt himself, excited to learn and create something from start to finish. In the last few months of his life, he also returned to skateboarding, picking up a passion he had loved as a kid. Noah approached everything he did with care and pride, and his employers loved him for his work ethic, reliability, and the dignity he brought to every task. Beyond work and personal pursuits, Noah was incredibly giving. He had a way of making everyone feel included and never hesitated to help those in need.
Although Noah was not a father, he was an incredible uncle to all of his nieces and nephews and a loving presence for his younger siblings. The kids quickly learned that Uncle Noah was someone who would say yes. He would buy them toys or snacks any chance that he got, take them on walks to the park, and fill their days with playful adventures. He loved being silly, putting them in hampers and pretending they were on a roller coaster, or acting as the ringleader as they slid down Nana’s stairs on a twin-size mattress. His goofy, fun-loving spirit is a common thread in every story the kids share about him.
Noah truly loved his family. He was the person everyone could count on. Steady, reliable, and always ready to help, he was there whenever anyone needed him. Whether it was a small favor or a big challenge, he never hesitated to be there for those he loved. He especially cherished family gatherings, whether it was a holiday, celebrating a niece or nephew’s birthday or when his siblings came together at their mother’s house for dinner. He loved laughter, reminiscing about childhood memories, and watching funny videos that made everyone laugh together. When he was surrounded by family, he was truly himself, funny, caring, and completely present. He cherished those moments, trying to keep the bonds strong and the family close.
Noah lived with love, curiosity, energy, and generosity that left a lasting mark on everyone around him. He celebrated life in his own way, through laughter, creativity, music, adventures, and unwavering love for his family. Though he faced challenges with his mental health and sometimes struggled to cope, he never let those struggles define the love, joy, and kindness he shared with those around him. Those who knew him will remember a man who gave freely of his time, his heart, and his spirit, and who could light up a room simply by being himself. While his presence will be deeply missed, the lessons he taught through his courage, his generosity, and his love for others will remain with us always.
Noah was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Yanez; his grandfathers, Emilio Saenz and Leonard Yanez; and his grandmothers, Evelyn Yanez and Ramona Annetta. He is survived by his mother, Angela Yanez; his siblings, Jeneva Saenz, Seth Saenz, Kareena Sheely, Karessa Yanez, Keith Yanez, Joseph Yanez, Isaiah Yanez, Allison Yanez, Amina Saenz, and Lewis Yanez Jr.; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; his grandmother, Guadalupe Saenz; and a loving extended family
