

She passed away peacefully on August 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the cherished daughter of the late Don Ramon Jacob Guico Sr. and Doña Vicenta Naval Guico.
Norma was a woman of great accomplishments and even greater heart. She earned her degree in
Commerce, majoring in Banking and Finance, from Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines.
Her career was marked by her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to her community. She owned and
managed several PETRON gasoline stations in Pangasinan and Ultimate Security Agency. Norma also
served on the Board of Directors of PANELCO (Pangasinan Electric Corporation), where she played a
pivotal role in expanding electricity coverage to remote areas of her province.
Her dedication to community service extended beyond her professional achievements. As a barangay
councilwoman, Norma was known for her kindness and unwavering support for the elderly and those in
need. She also found joy in farming, a venture she embraced with the same passion she brought to all
aspects of her life.
Norma loved shopping, dancing, and exploring new places. She often took long drives, enjoying the
simple pleasure of being a passenger. Her love for children was evident in the way she surrounded herself
with their laughter and joy, keeping her young at heart. Known for her elegance and respectfulness,
Norma was a beloved figure in her community.
She was a devoted mother to her children, Cristina Gotoc Mathur, married to Dr. Arvind Kishore
Mathur; Benigno Gotoc Jr. (†), married to Janet Gomez Gotoc; Leizel Gotoc; Bernard Gotoc (†); Ryan
Gotoc, married to Maricel Bulosan; Dr. Kendrick Gotoc (†); Catherine Aiza Gotoc; and Princess Gotoc.
She was also a loving stepmother to Christopher Gotoc, married to Daisy A. Gotoc. Norma was a
cherished sister to Fred N. Guico ( † ), Congressman Ramon N. Guico, and Milagros G. Guevarra.
Norma’s legacy of kindness, service, and dedication will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
