Norma Faye Hughes, 70, of Hemet, died June 1, 2011 at Cypress Gardens Rehab and Care Center in Riverside. Mrs. Hughes, who was born in Whittier, lived in Riverside Country for 17 years. She worked as a clerk for Dean Witter and Co. in Los Angeles for 23 years. She attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Hemet. She was a member of the Lutheran Woman's Missionary League in Downey. Mrs. Hughes is survived by her husband, James; a stepson, James; a stepdaughter, Elizabeth; a brother, Rex; two sisters, Virgil Courtright and Sandra Witt; and two grandchildren. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Miller-Jones Mortuary.
