

In 1951, she married the love of her life Ildefonso Holland Silguero. They continued to live in Texas until 1959 when they moved to East LA, California, then to La Mirada, California, and finally resided at their home in Moreno Valley, California in 1981 for 37 years.
They brought Mexican and Texan flavors to Moreno Valley when they opened their family restaurant, “Casa Silguero.” Her passion for cooking was only surpassed by her passion for dancing with Poncho. After their retirement, they loved traveling, spending time with family, and playing poker.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Ildefonso, and brothers David, Sabas, Faustino, and Juan. She is survived by her brothers Poncho and Antonio, her children: Mary Varnam, Ildefonso Jr and Irene Silguero, Sam and Ramona Silguero, Noe and Sally Silguero, Irene Silguero, Alice Quinn, Joseph Silguero, Jessica and Peter Holmes, as well as 24 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Oralia’s viewing will be Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 4-8pm at Miller Jones Mortuary; mass will be held at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church on January 3, 2019 at 11am, burial at Riverside National Cemetery at 1pm and reception will follow at Miller Jones Mortuary from 2-5pm.
