Patricia Secord Berenschot

She is survived by her beloved husband, Carl W. Berenschot; daughter, Laura Secord (W.D. 'Bill' Tankersley) of Birmingham, AL; daughter, Heather Secord Parsons (Rob) of Haiku, HI; son, Peter Secord (Janelle Ekdahl) of San Luis Obispo, CA; granddaughter, Kate Tankersley of Birmingham, AL; grandson, Samuel Secord of San Luis Obispo, CA; her family by marriage, sons, Ronald Berenschot (Susan) of Menifee, CA; Mark Berenschot (Ann) of Moreno Valley, CA; Robert Berenschot (Patti) of ­­­ San Marcus, CA, sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grand children; cousin, Dr. Robert Pierce, (Belle) of Houston, TX; sister-in-law, Joann Secord Szulczewski of Richmond, VA, ex-spouse Gerard Secord of St. George, UT; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia practiced many years as an ASID Interior Designer in the San Diego Area, and after her retirement she was an active volunteer with Ramona Hospice. She lived an engaged and joyful life, delighting in the world around her. She never ran out of love and generosity towards everyone she met, and lived a life of deep, abiding faith.
