Patti Lu Warren (Monroe) was born January 21, 1938 in Springfield, Ohio as the first child to Reed and Charlotte Monroe. Reed was a tool and die maker and Charlotte was a housewife. They lived in Springfield and the family continued to grow with the addition of sisters Janet and Linda, and brother Jerry. Patti graduated from Springfield High School and shortly thereafter married Bill Warren of Harmony, Ohio. Patti and Bill soon had a family of their own with daughters Cindy and Lori and son Tim. They lived in Springfield for many years before moving to the outskirts of London. Bill was a tool and die maker before starting his own excavating business in the late 1960's. Patti raised the three children and helped Bill run the business before deciding on a career of her own. She attended cosmetology school in 1976 and began working as a hair stylist. Not one to stay quiet for too long, she soon began teaching at the cosmetology schools. She and Bill relocated to El Cajon, California in 1985 after most of the family had moved to southern California. Bill worked as a heavy equipment mechanic and Patti was able to keep working as a stylist and cosmetology teacher. Teaching turned to managing and before long she was the director for a cosmetology school. Patti and Bill moved to Hemet in 2003 to enjoy the retired life, which didn't last too long as Patti went back to managing a cosmetology school. In 2005, Patti and Bill celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary amongst family and friends. Although Bill passed away in January 2008, Patti still made the most of life spending time with her friends and great grandchildren playing Bingo, relaxing by the pool, and traveling to Las Vegas and Laughlin. Patti passed away on July 24th, 2015. She is survived by children Cindy Beathard (Hemet, CA), Tim Warren (San Diego, CA), and Lori Stevens (Aiken, SC), grandchildren Chad Warren (Lake Mathews, CA), Heather Gilstrap (Albuquerque, NM), and Sarah Smith (Hillsboro, OH), great grandchildren Emma, Lily, and Ryan Warren (Lake Mathews, CA), and siblings Janet Kronk (London, OH), Jerry Monroe (Springfield, OH), and Linda Mefford (Hill City, SD).
