Paul E Trotter, 72 of Hemet, California passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, California . He was born Wednesday, June 21, 1939 in Monticello, Arkansas and was the husband of Alice Trotter for 44 years. He worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. He was a wonderful handyman and could build or fix just about anything. He in fact built a wonderful china cabinet and family bar at one of their homes. Paul loved to fish and do so at any fresh water lake he could find. He took the family camping in the motor home and if there was a lake along their route it was understood they would stop and fish. Paul was known to take the family out on a drive. Now, where they ended up... that was a different question. The trips were impromptu to and spontaneous. He would say... lets keep going. Many times the family would end up in a different state , stop for the night at a hotel and have no luggage or clothes for the next day. Pauls family was very important to him and he watched his grandson for his daughter all the time. He loved to play cards and was very good playing Cooncane, a two player card game similar to rummy. His family states he was always friendly to strangers. Paul could walk into a room and leave with a new friend. His family describes him as thoughtful, low key , protective, friendly and loved children. He always wore a smile. He is survived by his wife Alice Trotter, daughters Sharell D. Riley and Diana L Williams and sister Marnell Trotter.
