Phillip James Finken

Phillip James Finken, 78, passed away on Friday, March 12 2021, in Hemet, California. He was born on December 25, 1942, in Maywood, Califronia, to his parents, Mark Henry and Virginia Finken. He was married to the love of his life Gail. They married October of 1968, they were married for 43 years before Gail passing away in April of 2011.

Phillip was a sweet, family oriented man. He loved creating new memories with his family. If you didn’t find him outdoors or gardening, he could find him snow skiing. He really enjoyed outdoor activities, swimming, going to his grandkids baseball games, anything outdoor is where you would find him. And maybe with him being born on Christmas day, had a lot to do with him loving the Holidays. Not just the major Holidays, he would decorate and celebrate every holiday in the calendar year.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark Finken and Virginia Finken, and his wife Gail Finken. Phillip is survived by his Daughters, Gina Mcginley, and Erin Hickey; Son in law Kevin Hickey; and his grandchildren, Delaney Mcginley, Riley Mcginley, Cameron Mcginley, Connor Hickey, and Anderson Hickey.

We will truly miss him and his wonderful spirt.
