Phyllis Ann (Livingston) Forsythe peacefully passed away on February 22, 2011. A native Buckeye, she was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 19, 1925. In 1944 she met a young Air Corps pilot who proposed on their first date. They recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. Their union produced three handsome sons, Donald Jr., David and Thomas. David and Thomas survive her, along with their loving, devoted wives Sandra and Lisa, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Her husband's military career led to homemaking in numerous different localities, and as a tireless volunteer, led her involvement into a variety if interesting activities, not the least of which was Receptionist to the Vice-President of the United States and a member of Jackie Kennedy's staff.
With a smile which would light up a room, with a word which would always lift a heart, thoughtful, generous and loving to all she met. She was one of a kind. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet, and a graveside service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery at 9:45am, 14 March 2011.
