Mommie was born on April 8, 1933 in Pine Bluff, ARK. She was the 7th and 8th of 12 children. The seventh girl and eight child of Viessa and Edgar Harris. Mom met then married my dad Chief Bill Cherry December 31st, 1956 in Crown Point, Indiana. Mom gave birth to 5 daughters; two have already passed on (Daphne and Yolanda) and she is with them now in heaven. Mom died from progressive Sarcoidosis and Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Mom is survived by her husband of 54 years, Chief Bill Cherry, daughters Alexez, Melloni and Ambre'; three sons in law Donald Combs, William Kent and Michael Osborne. Three grandchildren Chioke Woolfork, Hashimo Kieta and Maiya Osborne and three great-grandchildren twins Kimoni and Kionne Kieta and sister Chloe Kieta. A multitude of family and friends who love her dearly that will miss her immensely.
