Raymond Edward Garza

Raymond Edward Garza passed away at home peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on October 18, 2022 in Hemet, California at the age of 66. He was born on August 26, 1956 in Los Angeles, California to his parents, Delicio Garza and Clara Benavidez. Raymond was the youngest of 6 as followed Socimo, Rudy, Michael, Sarah Benavidez, and Joe Garza. After high school, Raymond became a loving father to seven children. He was an amazing father and a hard worker. He was proud to open his Gas station in Vaughn, New Mexico. After moving back to California, Raymond worked in a chroming and polishing shop with his brother, Joe Garza for over 10 years. In his spare time, Raymond enjoyed working on cars and watching the Dodgers. Raymond loved his family more than anything, and spending time with his grandchildren was his favorite thing of all. Raymond favorite quote to his children was “Who loves you more”. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. Raymond is survived by his children, Anthony Garza, Raymond Edward Garza Jr., Lori Ann Garza-Reyes, Melissa Tina Alvarado, Crystal Marie Chaparro, Joseph Richard Garza, and Christopher Garza, and 19 grandchildren. After the passing of Raymond’s Mother he relocated to Lancaster where he resided with his niece, Mary Gutierrez and her husband Alfonso along with their children. Raymond holds a special memory with so many people we ask you to remember Raymond as the loving happy joker person he was. A visitation will be held at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 11:00AM to 12:30PM followed by a funeral service at 12:30PM.
