

Born in Amesterdam Idaho on September 14, 1921, he joined the Army Air Core where he was a flight instructor at Ryan Field in Hemet California After completing his military service, he was a longtime resident of the Hemet Valley where he owned and operated a successful business, Earl Electric Company.
He was a Veteran of World War II.
A man of many talents, he taught mathematics and chemistry, coached basketball, built several family homes and was involved in community activities and service organizations such as the Elks Club, Hemet Jr. Chamber of Commerce and the Ramona Pageant Association.
After retiring to Sun City in 1989, he enjoyed golf, wood working, gardening and singing in his church choir.
A devoted husband, father and friend, he is survived by his beloved daughters (3), his grandchildren (6) and his great grandchildren (12)
A celebration of life will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Miller-Jones Sun City Mortuary located at 26770 Murrieta Road Sun City, California 92586. A reception will follow at his home. Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
