Richard A. Fournier

Richard Allen Fournier, 68 of Hemet, California, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019. He was born Sunday April 15, 1951 to the late Dennis and Beverly Fournier. Richard worked as a caregiver for more than 12 years. He loved to bowl and was part of a local league where his team would travel to Laughlin from time to time for tournaments. He also liked to play guitar when he had the opportunity. He loved taking walks with his life partner Gail Gomez for exercise as well as time together. His family describes him as someone who would like to goof around, he was a child at heart. He had a good sense of humor and was there when you truly needed him. Any time with his family always made him light up as he loved being his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all his family.

He is survived by his life partner, Gail Gomez, son, Richard Fournier, daughter, Cheryl Petruescu (Cosmin), step children, Tony (Heidi), Fred, Eva (Gene) and Linda. His grandchildren Christopher (Anabel), Richard (aka Ricky), Landon, Cosmin, Cassierose, Steven, Chase, Elena, Eugenio, Jonathan, Elyana, and Makayla. His great grandchildren Valentina, Nicholas, and twins on the way, his sisters, Patricia Teniente and Marilyn Dominguez (Rey) and many nieces and nephews.

His family will have a visitation from 4 PM to 5 PM on Thursday, December 19, 2019. It will be held at Miller Jones Hemet and Mortuary at 1501 W. Florida Ave., Hemet, CA 92543. Interment will be private.
