Richard Lee Johnson

Richard was born on July 6th, 1946 in NiagaraFalls, New York to Howard Alexander Johnson and Elsie Elizabeth Johnson (Perry). He grew up in Mantua, Ohio and graduated high school from Crestwood High School in 1964 located in Mantua,Ohio. June 14, 1966 he married Margaret Elaine Johnson (Curran) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Richard started his career as an electrical draftsman for Collins Radio in Costa Mesa, California. He continued his career until finding his most loved position at Hall Research located in Anaheim, California in 1999, hired on as a Design Engineer, then promoted to Chief Engineer/Production Manager and his final position as the Program Operational Manager.

Richard is survived by; wife Margaret (Peggy) Johnson, of Romoland, CA; daughter Michelle (Missy) Rainwater of Corona, CA; son-in-law Darren Rainwater of Corona, CA; and daughter Nicole (Niki) Johnson - Epps of Murrieta, CA. He lives on through his grandchildren; Rylee Rainwater of Wenham, MA; Sarah Epps of Murrieta, CA; Ryan Rainwater of Corona, CA; and Ryker Rainwater. Richard leaves behind his sister ArlineFrancis of Corpus Christi, TX; and brother Robert Johnson of Scottsdale, AZ.

Richard was loved dearly and a man that will live on through all those that were blessed to have him touch their lives.

Memorial celebration will be held at Sycamore Hill in Irvine Regional Park/Irvine Regional Park at 1 Irvine Park Road, Orange, CA 92869 on Friday, April4, 2014 at 2:30 P.M. Please let the park ranger know you are attending Richard Johnson's Memorial Picnic at the gate and parking will be free.
