Richard Quast

Richard Quast, 68, of San Jacinto, CA, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. He was born on March 17, 1946 in Bell, CA; he was the son of the late William and Helen Quast. The family moved from Bell to San Jacinto when Richard was one year old, he called the San Jacinto Valley home for the rest of his life. Richard excelled in sports including track and field, basketball and especially football while attending San Jacinto High School and Riverside Community College. He worked for Quast Tree Service for 38 years where he was a jack of all trades. In his free time, he enjoyed working on his 1968 El Camino and riding his Harley. Richard's heart was as big as his stature, over his lifetime he touched many and will be fondly remembered.

He is survived by his sons, Doug Quast (Ellen) and Kevin Quast; sister, Janice Welch; brothers, James Quast (Sue) and Thomas Quast (Kaylynn); granddaughter, Gabrielle Quast; nephews Greg and Rick; nieces, Emily, Cathy, Bree and Desiree.

Memorial contributions may be made in Richard's name to the American Cancer Society or the Ramona Humane Society.
