

Born April 16, 1935 to Richard and Evelyn Rulison in Mentor on the Lake, Ohio. Richard attended Mentor High School and then went on to Ohio State University.
Mickey married Shirley Felix in 1955. They had 4 daughters, Deborah Rulison of Moreno Valley, California, Colleen Carnine (Steven Ecklund) of Bozeman, Montana, Kathleen Hamrick (Scott) of Montrose, Colorado and Deanna Dechenna (Joe Schlemmer) of Corona, California. Mickey is also survived by a host of grandkids: Lisa Barron, Nicholas Hamrick, Nathan Hamrick, Stephanie Ware (Brian), Stacy Gillardo (Romero), Heather Deyden Littrell (Caine), Michelle Deyden; great grandkids; Alexandria Murillo (Miguel), Chase Chambers (Lilo), Jesse Williams, Alexis Ooley, Alicia Ooley, Skylynn Bernel, Dylan Littrell, Ellie Littrell, Bella Bernal, Greyden Littrell, Logan Gillardo, Evette Gillardo, Junior Gillardo, Benjamin Ware and great great grandkids; Mia Murillo, Lea Murillo and Genesis Chambers. Richard is also survived by his brother Ronald Rulison and several nieces and nephews, and predeceased by his brother Donald Rulison and sister, Beverly Gebeau.
Mickey loved the outdoors, his boat, his “Alexa” music from the 40’s and 50’s and telling jokes. His sense of humor was unmatched. He could fix anything and was a baker extraordinaire. Most of all he loved his wife and his family.
Mickey served proudly in the US Military, the Mentor on the Lake Fire Department and retired from Weyerhaeuser Corporation after 35 years of dedicated service. Mickey and Shirley moved from Riverside, California to Arizona to live on the river. He created many memories for his wife, family and friends to forever remember.
A private family service celebrating the life of Mickey will be held March 23rd, 2019.
