Richard Vincent Allen II, age 56, passed peacefully on Friday, December 6th, 2013 at his home. He is survived by his mother, Mary Allen; and brother, Bob Cloer; and other family members: The Cloers, Randalls and Wilsons; 5 nieces: Tina, Kelly, Ashley W., Jenny, and Ashley C.; and 10 nephews: Jeff, Bobby, David, Michael, Tony, Jake, Matt, Andy, Bobby T. and David Jr. Richard is preceded in death by his father, Richard Allen; wife, Sara Allen; brother, Ron Cloer; and Sister, Shelley Randall.
Richard was born in San Pedro, CA, on April 11th, 1957. He attended Orville Wright Elementary, Westchester High, UCLA, and Loyola Law School, and was a PHI BETA CAPA.
Richard married Sara Steenburgh in 1998, one of the happiest days of his life. He always loved teaching and working with children since his teenage years at Westchester Park. Richard was a great guardian for Al Eckman and great Papa to Lacey and Petie. He had a big heart and was loved by many and will be missed. We all loved him very much.
