Richard James Walker, age 85, of Hemet, California passed away February 18th, 2020. He was born April 19th, 1934 in Los Angeles, California to Charles and Sarah Walker. He proudly served in the Navy 1951 - 1954. He met the love of his life Claudia in San Bernardino County and they were married for 55 years. In his younger days, Richard loved golfing, spending time with his friends, and playing pool. He had a passion for cooking and took many cooking classes. He really loved this retirement life, always the life of the party, and a jokester always telling jokes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudia Walker, and his son Richard Walker. He is survived by his daughter Jana Marie Moreno, his four grandchildren, Jill Marie Velarde, Mario Rosas, Richard Rosas, and Breanna Rosas, his five great grandchildren, Francisco Ruiz, Ruby Rosas, Ricky Limon, Mario Rosas Jr., and Isaac Rosas. A graveside service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Friday, March 06, 2020 at 2:00PM.
