Robert "Bobby" Huey of Sun City, CA, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013, at the age of 77, at his home. He was born Friday, December 27, 1935, in Phoenix, Arizona; he was the son of the late John Huey and the late Clara Caldwell Jenkins.
Bobby was a caring, loving man who would always give a helping hand to whoever needed it, especially if there was any welding involved. He worked for Allied Steel for 30 years and was a part of Iron Workers Union Local 433, in El Monte. Bobby loved taking the family to their favorite spot on Lake Cachuma in the family motor home to camp and to fish. In his spare time, he would be working on cars, more than ever his '40 pick up truck which he loved dearly. Bobby was really a hard working, responsible, all around, fine guy.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Grace Olson Huey; his sons, John Huey, of Montrose, CO, and Buzz Huey, of Phoenix, AZ; his daughter, Cathy Raney, of Ashfork, AZ; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sons, Michael Huey and Dezmond Huey.
