Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2017 in Sun City, California; he was born on July 16, 1937 in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late John and Heilda (Taylor) Ferris.
Robert was a devote catholic and enjoyed going to the casino's. He was a member of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Sun City.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria; his children and their families, David, Gary, Jeffrey and Steven Ferris; his sister's, Linda, Jackie and Elizabeth; his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 4-8pm with a Rosary at 6pm at Miller-Jones Mortuary Sun City. A funeral Mass will be on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 10:30am at St Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Sun City with Military Honors from the US Navy to follow. He will be laid to rest at Riverside National cemetery.
