Robert Scott Thacker, 61 of Hemet, California passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at home in Hemet, California. He was born Saturday, January 16, 1954, and was the son of the late Ronald and Beverly Thacker. Robert had many occupations, however he was most proud working as a Deputy Sheriff for Los Angeles County. He had a really great sense of humor and quick wit. He liked to tease his family and friends in a loving way and knew many one liners that made everyone laugh, i.e.: " Do you know my friend Chata ? " Robert enjoyed watching all the Cop shows, Jerry Springer and the Maury Show. Robert was known to visit the local gun ranges and shoot his guns. He loved shooting and taught his family these skills. His family describes him as caring, funny, he shared his opinion and would challenge at times what is politically correct. Preceded in death was his wife Nancy Thacker who passed in 1999.
Surviving is his fiancé' Becky McIntire, son, Randall Thacker, daughters, Brittany Thacker and Kailey Thacker, brother, Jeff Thacker, and sister, Lori Patterson.
