Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in Sun City, California; he was born on August 6, 1937 in St. Joseph, Missouri to the late Joseph and Vivian (Hooley) Monach.
A devote catholic, he was a member of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Sun City. He was a 4th degree Knight. He enjoyed playing poker, doing crossword puzzles and watching old time TV shows. He was also notorious for telling jokes and restored old clocks and collected coins. His favorite passion though was spending time was his family.
He is survived by his daughters and their families, Barbara Lafare, Judy Swain, Kathy Delmore and Kristy Giardinelli; his brother Warren Monach and many grandchildren.
A Rosary will be recited on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 1pm at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, with a funeral mass to follow at 1:30pm. He will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery.
