

Ric was born March 27, 1932, in Saint-Moise, Quebec, Canada. He immigrated to the United States as a young man and became a naturalized citizen in 1971.
He was a man of many talents and an avid outdoorsman. In his youth, he enjoyed fly fishing, scuba diving, sailing, hiking, and fishing in small mountain streams. He worked for years as a machinist and senior mold maker for several large organizations. Ric was also a successful small businessman for several decades as the working owner of Otis Engraving Company.
Ric was a friend of Bill W. for over 53 years.
He married the love of his life, Anna, in 1983. They enjoyed traveling and camping in their motor home mainly throughout California. Ric was predeceased by his wife Anna Lee Otis and both his siblings. Ric is survived by five stepchildren, ten step-grandchildren and his close friends Evelyn and Eric.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Organization to honor Ric's memory.
