

Ronald Henry Usher, age 92 of Sun City, California passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Born Monday, March 6, 1922, in London, England, he was the son of the late Charles Usher and the late Kate Usher.
Ron was a residential and commercial painter for more than 35 years. Many of his projects were for the Hollywood royalty of the time, including Roy Rogers, Lawrence Welk, Buddy Ebsen and Zsa Zsa Gabor. They so appreciated his quality that he was often called back to handle their additional projects. He loved camping. Many of the family vacations were camping trips throughout the United States and Canada. When he was 88 years old he drove his motorhome to Canada on his last trip.
In 2004, Ron was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Carol Usher.
Surviving are wife, Marjorie Lehmann-Usher; two daughters, Lesley Anvick and Susan Usher-Eselin; son-in-law, Mark Anvick; sister, Shiela Chester and her husband, Peter; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Miller-Jones Mortuary - Sun City, with a graveside service at 12:00 PM in the Menifee Valley Cemetery. Interment will be in Menifee Valley Cemetery, Sun City, California.
