Ronald M Poindexter, 64 of Moreno Valley, formerly of Riverside passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012. He was born Saturday, September 6, 1947 in Montgomery, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Marion Poindexter and the late Virginia Abbott Poindexter. He resided in Riverside County for the last 32 years. Ronald served in the US Navy aboard the USS Providence and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He coached baseball for several years at Arlanza Little League and youth football with Riverside Jr. Tackle Football in the 1980's. He was self-employed until his retirement in 2005. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cathy, of Moreno Valley, a son Ronald, and grandson Michael, both of Riverside. He is also survived by his sister Brenda Henderson of Ohio and brother James of PA, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
